Paxton’s Felony Violations Are Not Resolved
Ken Paxton appeared on KXAS Channel 5’s Lone Star Politics Sunday and blatantly lied – first saying that his violation of state security laws has been resolved, and then claiming that the criminal charges against him have been investigated and dismissed by a district attorney. There’s no shading it, Ken Paxton is lying.
Paxton Entwined in Collin County Land Scheme
Paxton is also hiding his intimate involvement in an insider Collin County land deal. A Paxton-owned company acquired and later sold prime Collin County land that was rezoned, flipped to another company for a large profit then resold to the county appraisal district for construction of a multi-million dollar building. Paxton says he had no prior knowledge about the rezoning or the county purchase of the land. Not true. Records show, and the Dallas Morning News reported, that Paxton business associates requested the zoning change, and a title company he represents provided the title insurance needed to facilitate the deal. Again, there’s no shading it, Ken Paxton is lying.
