“Dan Patrick’s overly-dramatic press conference this morning was shameless performance art without an ounce of sincerity and even less fact. But, it does show that corporate criticism of Patrick vote suppression has hit a nerve.
“Waving hands, whining in high pitched voice and faking outrage doesn’t cover overt hostility to the notion of every Texan having fair and equal access to the ballot.
“Patrick used the Big Lie of ballot security to cover up overt racial discrimination and voter suppression.
“Phony charges of voter fraud have been used by Abbott, Patrick & other Republican leaders for nearly two decades as cover for their actions to undermine the votes of minority Texans and new Texas voters of all ethnicities.”
