Don’t mistake Bo French’s remark as a throwaway line on “X”. French is deliberately and accurately expressing the views of current Tarrant County and Texas Republican leaders.
No Republican Party leader more directly reflects the views of Republican elected officials than Bo French. He is an ideological extension of local MAGA extremists Sheriff Bill Waybourn, County Judge Tim O’Hare, and DA Phil Sorrells. Bo is a favored MAGA mouthpiece for Ted Cruz, Ken Paxton, and other state Republican officeholders.
French is doing the MAGA Republican dirty work. He uses derisive attacks on women to justify the dangerous and dehumanizing policies of Texas Republicans – imposing forced birth on women, even 10 and 11-year old girls who are raped, requiring women to bleed out to near death during a miscarriage before getting medical treatment, and imprisoning doctors and punishing parents who take action to helped their loved ones.
Bo French knows what Texas Republican leaders think, and he’s letting the rest of us know.
