Donald Trump’s choice of sleazy grifter and third-rate lawyer Kash Patel as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation makes it crystal clear that competency and qualifications play no part in who Trump picks for top posts to serve our nation.

For even the most crucial posts, like FBI Director, Trump values and demands submissive fealty and the willingness to exact revenge on his political opponents over service to our country and even the safety of American citizens.
