Lone Star Project Video: Ken Paxton Belongs in Prison

“Ken Paxton doesn’t have a record, he has a rap sheet. If all the treasonous villains who betrayed our country leading up to January 6th were lined up, Ken Paxton would be front and center.”

As the January 6th Committee reveals facts and exposes Republican officials complicit in efforts to overthrow American democracy, The Lone Star Project is releasing a video to remind Texans of Ken Paxton’s abuse of power, his efforts to incite insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, and his repeated criminal acts while Texas’ Attorney General.

Crimes and other corrupt actions define Ken Paxton’s time in public office. He was indicted seven years ago for felony securities fraud and still has not been to trial. His own staff were so outraged by his corruption that they blew the whistle on him, sparking a still ongoing FBI investigation into bribery and obstruction of justice.

“Ken Paxton doesn’t have a record, he has a rap sheet. If all the treasonous villains who betrayed our country leading up to January 6th were lined up, Ken Paxton would be front and center,” said Matt Angle, founder and director of the Lone Star Project.
