In some cases, to stay faithful to our mission we must take sides in contested Democratic primaries. The Democratic run-off election in Texas Congressional District 35 between shameless anti-Semite, Maureen Galindo, and strong, responsible Democrat, Johnny Garcia, is a dramatic example of a race where we must weigh in.
Maureen Galindo reflects the worst in public life. She has embraced hate and division to foment and divide Texans against each other. Her comments and character are more in line with the Texas Republicans who have sold their souls and surrendered their integrity to be part of the MAGA/Trump cult than with any responsible Democrat.
There are only a few days left before the run-off election. If you live in CD35 and did not vote in the Republican primary, we strongly urge you to stand up for your community and our state by voting for Johnny Garcia in the Democratic run-off.
